BASEMENT WATERPROOFING - GLASTONBURY, MILLFIELDS, PLYMOUTH
The former Royal Naval Hospital in Plymouth, constructed in 1762, is now commonly known as The Millfileds. “Glastonbury” is one of several magnificent stone buildings on the site being converted to provide luxury residential accommodation. Glastonbury is a Grade II* Listed Building. A Basement Waterproofing Solution was required that would be sympathetic to the historic structure whilst being capable of providing a dry, habitable environment suitable for domestic accommodation. THE SOLUTION Working with the design team, Protectahome evaluated the end use performance criteria and matched the Waterproofing System to suit the site requirements, including the reversibility of the process. We designed and installed a Type C Waterproofing System which incorporated BBA
