Associated British Ports
Associated British Ports Redirack previously installed drive-in racking at a new chill store in Associated British Port’s Cardiff site, the success of this project secured us another, major contract with ABP at Cardiff. In April 2001, ABP , the UK’s leading ports business, launched its new value-added service division, ABP Connect which is intended to develop ABP’s supply-chain management, warehousing, distribution and transport businesses. To support this development a new, state-of-the-art distribution terminal was opened at the same time. The prestigious, new facility is sited within its own secure compound on the south side of Queen Alexandra’s dock in the Port of Cardiff. ABP invested £2.5 million in the new 6,540 square metre warehouse and distribution complex. It is equipped with
