Ashton Old Baths transformed with Standalone Presence Detectors
The Brief: The Brief: Grade II-listed Ashton Old Baths sat empty for 40 years before Manchester property developer PlaceFirst and Tameside Council implemented a refurbishment programme with the support of funding from grants from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). Inside the 1870s original structure, exible o ce space, event space, break-out areas and free-standing, self-contained o ce pods were designed and built, and the building is now used as a digital, creative and media hub.
