AntrimLoughShorePlayPark Antrim, Northern Ireland CASE STUDY The new 800m2 playground was funded by Antrim and Newtownabbey council to a cost of £250,000. Some elements of the new play park have been designed by school pupils from across the local area. The play area will make the main park even more fun for anyone who visits. Amongst the play equipment is the main focal point of the play area; a large ship. The playground also has wheelchair access. The surfacing laid was outdoor wetpour EPDM safety surfacing in blues and greens, in keeping with the nautical theme.
