Smart Metering Upgrade admin RFI was asked to ?nd an antenna solution suitable for mobile data applications that was easy to install and suitable for residential homes. The Victorian electricity infrastructure Smart Metering upgrade included the installation of RFI’s CSM900 antenna. The antenna allows meter information to be sent between the meter and the Power distribution centres using radio frequency (in this case 824MHz) from the smart meter through a series of access points and relays, and then on to the public telecommunications network to the distributor.
