Country Australia Client Amcor Limited Contract type Design and construct The first of its kind in Australia, Amcor’s glass bottle factory is dedicated solely to producing various types of bottles for the wine industry. Just one year after its completion, the facility doubled its production capacity from 200 million to 400 million bottles per year. Both construction stages were planned and executed by CIMIC, HOCHTIEF’s Australian Group company. The factory in the state of South Australia is located directly adjacent to the Barossa Valley, Australia’s largest wine growing region, and uses state-of-the-art production and packaging technology.
