Amazon Fulfillment Centre, Airport City, Manchester August 2016 Amazon has recently completed work on its first Fulfillment Centre in the North West of England. The Centre is the 10th of its kind in the UK and has created over 1000 jobs. Kooltech were approached by the primary air conditioning contractor, Effective Air Solutions, to design a system to meet a strict set of requirements; notably the selection of low noise level equipment to suit the call centre function of the Centre, and compliance with EN378 regulations.
