Dumarey Automotive Italia sought to accelerate its design and validation cycles while maintaining accuracy across complex propulsion and mobility systems. Traditional finite element methods required weeks of model preparation and solver time, limiting early design exploration. By adopting Altair SimSolid and the Altair Units licensing model, Dumarey eliminated meshing and reduced model setup to minutes. Engineers could analyze full CAD assemblies, evaluate multiple design variants, and resolve NVH and structural challenges much faster. As a result, development time dropped from four weeks to one, a 75% reduction. The solution improved confidence in early-stage decisions, reduced costly iterations, and enabled faster, higher-quality prototype releases.
