During the project Alltask and the JV have taken a collaborative approach to fi nd solutions to the many access requirements. We have then been able to share our designs as best practice across the many other Crossrail projects we are involved with. One example of the Alltask in-house design team providing VE was to build mobile system scaffold platforms to fi t out escalator barrels with steel frames, halving build time and cost of traditional scaffold.
