THE CHALLENGE All Axis Research & Development LLC of Claremont, N.H., creates prototypes for clients in the electronics, aerospace, glass and industrial printing industries. It also manages larger runs and creates xtures for the parts it designs. Because it is regularly producing prototypes, the company handles a variety of materials and parts. On some of its smaller jobs, with quantities under 10, All Axis found itself performing a lot of setups and programming as it handles engineering and proves out products. It needed eciency to handle those runs, along with the capacity and exibility to handle the unique challenges of each prototype.
