CASE STUDY This project enabled Ross-shire Engineering to showcase our full capability, ranging from design, manufacture and control integration for an international market. Ross-shire Engineering were awarded a contract to design, manufacture and commission spool base pipe handling equipment for Technip FMC’s Gulf of Mexico facility in Mobile, Alabama. This project has fully engaged Ross-shire Engineering’s 360 degree capability. Project Overview: To provide two pipe fabrication lines including indexing auto racks, bevelling stations, auto line-up stations, production roller and pipe pushers with a 300t grip and 75t pushing force. This included all design, modelling and stress analysis of load bearing structures. A bespoke Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system
