Akitio Trucking is a family-owned log transport provider in the lower half of the North Island, New Zealand. Having identified a market need based on their own experience with being unable to secure reliable log transport for their own harvested logs, the family bought a couple of trucks to solve their problem in 2009.The business has grown from there – largely through organic growth, and more recently the purchase of another fleet of trucks.
