XENON deployed Pure Storage’s FlashBlade unified fast file and object solution for the Australian Genome Research Facility to accelerate genomics sequencing analytics. AGRF processes over 10 terabytes of data each week, an amount that multiplies several times before reaching clients. By migrating workloads to FlashBlade, AGRF now benefits from high‑performance throughput of up to 15 gigabytes per second and millions of IOPs, depending on configuration. The move to FlashBlade’s combined file and object storage has significantly reduced processing times and improved the efficiency of AGRF’s data‑intensive sequencing workflows.
