aerospace industry banding press Orwin were commissioned to design and manufacture two banding presses to be included in the machining of 105mm and 155mm artillery shells for the MASS contractual partnership between BAE Systems and the UK MoD. Its key aim was to deliver increased supplies of ammunition to front line troops by modernising and ensuring sustainability of the UK munitions industry.
