Aegis Sciences Corp., a forensic toxicology and health-care sciences laboratory, is employing an RFID-based solution to monitor the status of the blood and urine samples that it receives. Aegis operates four laboratories in Nashville, TN, which process samples for more than 2,500 clients daily, testing those samples for the presence of medications, opioids or other substances.
