The Solution Traditional concrete repairs were carried out to the underside beams using the Flexcrete Concrete repair system with Galvashield XP Cathodic Protection anodes included in the larger defects to reduce the chances of any incipient reaction to the reinforcement. Repairs to the deck entailed reforming of the expansion joint and repairs using both repair concretes and epoxy repairs for edge details.
