A Traditional Cobblers And Men’s Clothing Store Asked Us To Transform Their Old Building Into A Space That Embodied Exquisite Gentlemanly Elegance
10 PagesGraphics and signage for BIG ideas /INGMANS Chesterfield’s historic market town is filled with beautiful old buildings, which often bring along some challenges. Tall ceilings, narrow corridors and poor wall surfaces are typically tricky spaces for late eighteenth century structures. Ingmans was no different and was perfect for our innovative FabriGrab solution. The two story building was home to a slim staircase with 26 steps. The walls were old with exposed wiring so we fixed a thin profile around the edge of the walls and fitted a smooth drum-skin-like tensioned fabric to create a wonderfully smooth finish and some well-needed acoustic softening. The landing area also received a stunning suite of FabriGrab graphics that created an impressive greeting on the first floor. The
