Project highlights Client challenge: A U.S.-based company applies powder coatings when manufacturing lawn and garden equipment. Because of concern about combustible dust in the powder coating operations area, an inspector from Occupational Health & Safety Administration (OSHA) cited the manufacturer under the general duty clause. OSHA identified National Fire Protection (NFPA) Standard 654 as the governing criteria for this issue.
