The Hive in Ely is ready to open its doors to the public in May and will boast an eight-lane 25-meter swimming pool, a learner pool with moveable floor, a 120-station gym floor, two activity studios and a four-court sports hall. Dantherm will support the new leisure centre with its Dantherm DanX units that provide fresh air dehumidification to its swimming pools but, as well as this, three of our WD units will also be fitted within the centre to cater for many of its ‘non pool’ applications. Within The Hive, which is a £13.5 million project, areas such as the wet changing rooms and the fitness suites will also benefit from fresh air dehumidification thanks to Dantherm’s WD range, which are specifically designed for applications such as general commercial development.
