Case Study - Cigweld Background Cigweld is an innovative, world leader in the production of welding and cutting equipment and consumables. Shine On was requested to provide a LED lighting retrofitting solution for Cigweld’s Asia-Pacific Head Office in Preston. The company wished to improve their carbon footprint, reduce their electricity costs, as well as the maintenance time and costs involved with replacing blown bulbs. Shine On proposed LED tube, highbay, canopy and floodlight alternatives to replace Cigweld’s old inefficient lighting. Following installation, the business was able to save 69% on their lighting expenditure, resulting in a ten year saving of over $417,000.
