7320 and 9130 used in remote locations
7320 and 9130 used in remote locations The power provision to telecoms transmitters in remote locations throughout Northern Africa has recently been improved with new emergency power installations. Grid failures are common place in many areas of Africa leading to regular disruption of vital services for telecoms providers. In this recent project, each transmitter has been fitted with a standby generator set with an enhanced fuel capacity and the ability to start automatically in the event of a grid power failure. The generator sets are extremely compact, allowing extra space for the larger fuel tank. This allows the generators to run for longer periods of time, reducing disruptions and keeping telecoms services much more stable. Fitted with DSE7320 Auto Mains Failure control modules whi
